Race Car Driver Giedo Van Der Garde Reinforces The Wine Fold. Welcome Aboard.

Giedo van der Garde has long since proven his worth as a racing driver on the big international stage and in 2013 he achieved his biggest dream: to become a Formula 1 driver. Giedo van der Garde lives a professional life in the fast lane, but when he is no longer accompanied by four high-speed racing tyres, he also wants to be known as a successful investor who has made some good, stable investments to secure his future.

In addition to being a recognised racing driver, he is also a familiar face on Dutch TV with regular appearances on several TV shows on Viaplay, Late Night and Dutch NOS. Giedo is also an expert commentator on TV - in connection with Formula 1.

Giedo balances professionalism, expertise, humour, and authenticity in the best possible way - both on and off the road. And combined with his great credibility as an expert and his knowledge from TV, this has been decisive in making Guido the new Dutch brand ambassador for RareWine Invest.

Hidde Hoogendam, Country Manager of RareWine Invest's Benelux office in Amsterdam, has seen how the previous RareWine Invest ambassadors have been great representatives in spreading the word about wine investment in their respective countries and within their field of expertise - and he is looking forward to the Dutch reinforcement. Alternative investments are gaining more and more recognition these years, and with a credible representative like Giedo, hopefully even more people will become interested in low-risk alternative investments.

When Giedo was 7 years old, he told his mum that he wanted to be a Formula 1 driver one day. And while the young Dutchman probably shared dreams with many other children at the time, he was one of the few who made it. Giedo worked hard and dedicated to achieving his goal, and along the way he became a world champion with a victory in The Karting World Championship in 2002. He can now tick Formula 1 off his bucket list – and now also wine investment: but he is not done yet.

He is active in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and is still chasing a podium finish at the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Giedo van der Garde is a familiar face in his native Netherlands and in the motorsport world, where he has already made a big impression. Now he will also become a familiar face at RareWine Invest.
